Why Price Increases?
UPDATED: 07/25/2025
As many of you have heard by now, we are looking at an across-the-board price increase for our products. Over the years, we have truly tried to keep our prices as low as humanly possible, even as costs have steadily increased. (A lot of our products are still at 2016-2019 pricing, if not lower in some cases.) In today’s climate, with just about everything under the sun increasing in cost, it simply isn’t sustainable (or responsible) to keep them at the same pricing. These increases will take effect August 1st.

Shipping Fees
Starting August 1, we will be charging a nominal shipping fee based on the product size/weight. The cost of shipping has tripled since 2016, as I’m sure everyone is aware, so this has become a necessity as we continue to grow.
Will these be the final pricing increases?
Honestly we will have to assess everything after a period of time - likely there will be more in the near future. This is the “trying to keep prices as low as possible list” for us right now.
Below are some FAQ’s on this subject from last week - please skip over if you’ve read already.
What will these increases go toward?
Keeping Audioscape in business and keeping our workforce employed. The current prices cannot do that unfortunately (though we truly wish they could), as cost of living has continued to increase. This move makes it possible for us to continue paying our team fair wages, and hire new talent as we grow. AudioScape will still be the best value around for high quality and best bang for your buck – we’re committed to that.
Will this affect the UK and EU website pricing?
As of now, no price increases for any of our international sites are planned. They currently already have higher fees than the US site ,with import fees and higher shipping.
Are tariffs the main reason for this?
Not really. As a company that manufactures everything here in the US, and builds with a lot of USA-market NOS parts, our business and vendors are largely domestic. Yes, some of raw material costs have gone up, but the main driver for us is broader increases in cost of living & the cost of doing business over the years - something I’m sure everyone is aware of. It’s pretty remarkable how much some things have changed since 2016-2019. Truly a different time.
I just want to say that although this isn’t the most pleasant news, we appreciate everyone that has supported us since we began. Your support truly means the world to us. We wouldn’t be here without you. We just want to be around in the future more for you.
