Creating Flo, Karim Rashid was inspired by sound waves and digital data. Rashid believes that people today live in a very digital world mentally. We need to catch up with experiental design in the physical world to create a balance.

The Flo panels can be set continuously or broken in different ways. Placed horizontally the pattern conveys a sense of water and vertically it could be described as light waves.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Flo with Basfill is designed to be used as lightweight sound absorbers in the frequency range 150 Hz and above. These panels work excellent in studio and critical listening environments. They also help reduce disturbing reflections of environmental sounds as well as absorb full frequency range. Recyclable moulded polyester fibre in colors anthracite, grey, and offwhite

Basfill is being placed inside the Soundwave panels in order to improve sound absorption in the lower frequency range (150-500 Hz). This makes Flo an excellent solution for the most demanding studio absorption needs. We know you’ll love it as much as we do!
