We’re STOKED to finally offer everyone the opportunity to choose their favorite flavor(s) of the BEST ‘76 revisions ever made (in our humble opinions) ;-)
However, the question that seems to be on everyone’s mind is: “What’s the difference between the A, D and F revisions?
After much consideration - we felt the most succinct way to answer this question was to use ONE WORD DESCRIPTORS to best describe each (at their core):
76A = AGGRESSIVE
76F - THICK
76D = PUNCHY
With that being said, the saturation characteristics, compression behavior and overall box-tone of each revision are subtly different, none better than the other, simply 3 UNIQUE flavors of this ubiquitous circuit!
As we like to say - it ALL boils down to YOU and YOUR personal SONIC PREFERENCES!
